This recent deal was instrumental in guaranteeing more income for our Trust in meeting the growing demands of our Whānau Owners and Beneficiaries.

What this means for our Trust is that we have a second major stream of income outside of our Forestry Lease with Ernslaw One that ensures we have a growing financial portfolio.

Some of this money has already been placed into Short-Term Deposits, and is being scoped for ethical investments that meet our values. Whilst ensuring that the Grants, Scholarships are provided and increased, and our landcare responsibilities is being fulfilled.

An isolated Māori Land Trust in the central North Island has sealed what it’s calling ‘a no-lose deal’.
