We are currently promoting our HYDRO EXCAVATOR this winter and highlighting the numerous benefits it offers.

A Hydrovac, or Hydro Excavation, uses high-pressure water and a powerful vacuum system to efficiently excavate soil and debris.

This method is precise, non-destructive, and greatly reduces the risk of damaging underground utilities.

Common uses for a hydrovac include:

Utility Locating
Potholing/Daylighting
Slot Trenching
Debris Removal
Environmental Cleanup
Pole, Post, and Sign Installation
Root and Soil Removal

At Holland Underground, we're on a quest to find the underground heroes of the modern age: a Horizontal Directional Driller and Locator who knows their way around the subterranean world like a mole on a mission! If you're looking for a job that's as far from "boring" as it gets (pun absolutely intended), then you've hit the jackpot.

What You'll Be Doing:

Drilling, Baby, Drilling: Master the art of horizontal directional drilling like a pro. If you can navigate underground without popping up in someone's living room, we want you!
Hydro Excavation: Ever wanted to control a high-pressure water gun? Now's your chance! Unleash the power of water and unearth treasures (mostly pipes and cables).
Light Civils: Get down and dirty with some light civil work that will have you flexing those muscles and your brain.
Mystery Underground Adventures: Every day is a surprise when you’re digging through the unknown. Who knows what you’ll find? (We're legally obligated to say it's usually pipes.)
What We’re Looking For:

A Positive Attitude: Bring that sunshine! We're looking for someone who can find the joy in mud and doesn't mind a bit of dirt under their nails.
Class 2 License: Ideal but not a deal-breaker. If you can handle a rig bigger than a breadbox, we’re interested.
A Sense of Humor: We take our work seriously but not ourselves. If you can drill with a smile and dodge the dirt with a laugh, you'll fit right in.

With all this wet weather we did a little bit of community service and popped out to Catlecliff Club to clear their storm water drain sumps. Here at Holland Underground we find it important to help those who help the community.
