After growing 25K followers in less than 6 months here’s what I’ll tell you about growing a tiny account:

You do NOT need to share your life to grow online. You don’t even need to share your face (although that does help).

Stop looking at the content you like to consume and thinking that you’re too messy, not pretty enough or skinny enough, or you don’t look successful enough to start marketing your business on here. That’s an excuse, and here’s the proof.

I’ve studied hundreds of REAL businesses… I’m talking landscapers, cafes, window washers, lawyers.. boring AF businesses that are absolutely killing it in business and online and they’re not showing anything flashy.

They’re posting what they do every single day.

Cleaning windows. Laying pavers. Telling the story of client who needs a will written.

Let me tell you… if they can build followings of 100K plus… you can build a business with 5K followers, or 10K… of what I’m aiming for here: 20K 😅

Why the hell not?!

The biggest lesson I’ve learnt from growing my first account from 28K to 53K in 6 months has been that the first step is to stop the scroll. Why do I care? Because I own a business too and I know how hard things are out there. Most of my friends are small business owners and want us all to make enough money to not go to bed at night feeling sick because we don’t know how to pay next month’s bills… (yes I’ve been there too).

Which is the whole reason I started this page. To help real life businesses show the world how amazing they are in real life.. online where new customers are waiting.

You do not need to yap to:

Check this setting is on before you edit your videos.

Instagram’s head Adam Mosseri confirmed that the reach of your reels are suppressed when you put elements outside the “safe zone”.

Why? Because Instagram wants to keep all its buttons and profiles etc clear and easy to see so your audience can engage with your content easier. And the more engagement you get, the more views you get.
