🌏 Taking Tourism Knowledge Beyond Borders - June 2026
One of the most rewarding aspects of our work at VilLink Training & Consultancy Services is the opportunity to share knowledge, learn from others, and contribute to strengthening tourism across the Pacific.
Recently, our team had the privilege of conducting tourism training in the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI), working alongside local tourism stakeholders and communities.
For us, training is more than delivering a programme or sharing information. It is about building confidence, strengthening local capacity, exchanging experiences, and empowering people to create better tourism experiences within their own communities.
Coming from Papua New Guinea, it was particularly meaningful to see the similarities we share as Pacific nations — our rich cultures, natural environments, community-based tourism opportunities, and the challenges we face in turning these assets into sustainable livelihoods.
Every training creates an opportunity to learn. Every participant brings knowledge and experiences that enrich the conversation. And every partnership reminds us that tourism development is stronger when we learn and grow together.
We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to tourism capacity building in RMI and look forward to continuing to build bridges across the Pacific through training, consultancy, partnerships and knowledge exchange.
