1, Branch Manager – Agriculture
Brian Bell Group is bringing together PNG’s best minds and now sourcing candidates from the upper echelon of the PNG market for a Branch Manager - Agriculture to join its Agriculture Division and add to the vibrant culture that will see it continue to succeed for another 64 years and beyond.
The role: In this high visibility role reporting to the Brian Bell Group Agriculture Manager, the successful incumbent will be responsible for managing and overseeing all functions within the branch, developing, and delivering growth for the business, brands, and employees within as well as achieving financial and operational goals. The manager is chartered with growing the business through increasing sales and focusing primarily on the agriculture, corporate and other allied PNG industries.
The person: The role requires an understanding of; agriculture, machinery, building strong sales capability, service contracts, retail, supply chain, business development and branch administration. The manager will also work closely with major suppliers to ensure product and service performance is aligned with market requirements. Brian Bell Agriculture is the exclusive supplier of Kubota tractors and other products within PNG.
Special Requirement: Able to work effectively and efficiently toward goals in a complex, diverse and multicultural environment that faces challenges in transportation and communications infrastructures. Experience in negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors. Demonstrate ability to apply strategic vision to procurement strategy. Outstanding communication skills: ability to communicate effectively with all other branch managers within the Brian Bell Group including senior management and all employees. Understands business accounting, stock management and financial transactions; should be able to process information in the form of analysing stock reports, compiling stock information for financial reports and verifying data from invoices. Incumbent must possess strong Leadership skills to drive performance through empowering employees and teaching new skills. Must have working knowledge of Pronto and have a Driver’s License.
2, Facility & Cleaning Supervisor
Brian Bell Group is bringing together PNG’s best minds and now sourcing candidates from the upper echelon of the PNG market for a Facility & Cleaning Supervisor to join our Main Distribution Centre in Gerehu and add to the vibrant culture that will see it continue to succeed for another 64 years and beyond.
The role: Reporting to the Warehouse and Distribution Manager, the Facility & Cleaning Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the day-to-day cleaning, maintenance and repair of the facility and grounds to ensure work is carried out safely and effectively in accordance with Brian Bell Group’s OH&S policy and other related policies and procedures.
The person: Must have excellent knowledge of Workplace Occupational Health & Safety; be analytical and safety driven with demonstrated experience with monthly reporting and understanding of basic functions of Property Management and best practices.
Tertiary qualifications in Facilities and Property Management, Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety and minimum 3 years work experience as a Property Officer would be an advantage.

Special Requirement: Must have excellent knowledge of Workplace Occupational Health & Safety. Be Analytical and Safety-Driven. Demonstrated experience with monthly reporting and have an understanding of basic functions of Property management and best practices.
3, Café Back of House Supervisor
Brian Bell Group is bringing together PNG’s best minds and now sourcing candidates from the upper echelon of the PNG market for a Café Back of House Supervisor to join its Jeanz Café at our Gordon’s Plaza and add to the vibrant culture that will see it continue to succeed for another 64 years and beyond.
The role: Reporting to the Branch Manager – Brian Bell Home Centre, Gordons Plaza, The Back of House (BOH) Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operation and supervision of Jeanz Café as well as help in catering operations additionally overseeing opening/closing setup and procedures, perform daily food safety and quality checks, and lead pre-shift meetings. The Back of House (BOH) Supervisor must be fully capable of training team members and submitting daily reporting, and be fully versed in, and capable of performing, all positions as needed in addition to assisting customers and handling customer complaints. Successful incumbent must be able to work in a hot, hectic environment; stand, walk, bend, use hands and appliances; and lift heavy items for extended periods.
The person: Our desired candidate must possess Certificate II & III in Food Handling or equivalent; have a high level of cooking skills and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Hospitality industry. Must be familiar with Food Safety and HACCP standards.
4, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician
Brian Bell Group is bringing together PNG’s best minds and now sourcing candidates from the upper echelon of the PNG market for a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician to join our Technical Services Department in Madang and add to the vibrant culture that will see it continue to succeed for another 64 years and beyond.
The role: Reporting to the Branch Manager – Madang, the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician will install, repair, service and design residential, commercial and industrial HVAC/R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration) equipment.
The person: Be able to lay out, assemble, install and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling and industrial production and processing systems. Must have a valid and current driver’s license and must provide a Police Clearance certificate upon request.
5, Jeanz Café Baker
Brian Bell Group is bringing together PNG’s best minds and now sourcing candidates from the upper echelon of the PNG market for a Baker to join Jeanz Café at our Gordons Plaza and add to the vibrant culture that will see it continue to succeed for another 64 years and beyond.

The Role: Reporting to the Back of House Supervisor, the Baker will design and execute recipes according to food safety standards with specialty in baking pastries, cakes and other baked goods. Must have high level of baking skills, strong communication, time and resource management, and planning skills. Attention to detail, especially when performing quality inspections on ingredients and products. Ability to work in a hot, hectic environment; stand, walk, bend, use hands and appliances; and lift heavy items for extended periods.
The Person: Our desired candidate must possess Secondary school certificate or higher and 3 years work experience in commercial or hospitality industry additionally, be familiar with Food Safety and HACCP standards.

Special Requirements for all roles.
Potential candidates must be fully vaccinated with evidence of booster taken, be a non-smoker, non-betelnut chewer, and flexible to work Saturdays, Sundays and on public holidays when required.
Some roles may require Police Clearance certificates and medical health checks as minimum requirement.
