The government’s tuition-free subsidy policy that was used from 2022 to 2024 is now renamed as the government-free education policy.

The name change reflects the changes done to this policy where the government is now paying the school fees in full, not just the tuition fees, and covers the cost of project fees.

Papua New Guinea has allocated 300 million kina over the next three years to prepare the PNG NRL team to participate in 2028.

This money will be used in batches of 100 million kina per year starting next year.

This is PNG’s share of funding, to be reimbursed in 2028 from the 300 million Australian dollar support by the Australian government.
