We are proud to have successfully delivered the second group of the Work Safely at Heights training for the dedicated team at JV Ports Lae.

Following the successful completion of the first group, we were pleased to continue supporting JV Ports Lae in strengthening their workplace safety capabilities through practical and industry-relevant training. The program focused on equipping participants with the knowledge and skills required to identify hazards, manage risks, and perform work at height safely and competently.

Congratulations to the first four participants of The Coach Workshop!

We appreciate their trust in JTC’s Leadership Program which is composed of courses that we believe empowers individuals in their various leadership roles.

The group of participants were a representation of the different categories of people that are present in any workforce today and would benefit from attending our Coach Workshop because the content is designed for existing and emerging leaders.

The Shut-down Coordinator from Ok Tedi Mining Ltd and HR/Admin Supervisor from Trends International practiced their coaching skills effectively with two up and coming leaders.This combination naturally set the perfect stage for practice.

All four participants are now equipped and empowered with this powerful leadership skill which is coaching.

We wish them all the best as they return to their respective roles and re-shape how they lead and develop others for maximum and positive impact.

Our training schedule for June began with another course under our Leadership Program - The Coaching Workshop.

This is the first workshop for Coaching Skills for Leaders and Supervisors and we are proud to share some pictures of participants practicing coaching since day one of the workshop.

Each day during this week, the participants coached each other in pairs after learning each stage of the COACH MODEL®. During their practice as Coach, each individual applied the skills of Listening Actively, Asking Powerful Questions, Doing Follow Up and Generating Feedback. As the week progressed, they also practiced in quads to enhance the skills learned.

The COACH MODEL® is taught in over 70 countries and in 11 different languages in the world today. Coaching is a powerful and essential skill for leadership for solving problems, reaching goals, developing others and changing mindsets.
We are proud to be one of very few registered training providers in PNG to offer this workshop under JTCs Leadership Program.

We continued on with our second training for our client Consort Express Lines Ltd this week.

Today, we delivered the Fire prevention and protection training.

Today, we conducted the Chemical Spillage Response training for our clients here at Consort Express Lines Ltd.

Understanding the handling, storage, transportation and use of chemicals in the workplace is very significant to help reduce incidents involving chemical spillage.

Participants we trained on how to use a Safety Data Sheet (SDS), identify parts of a SDS, interpret Emergency Information Panel, etc.,.

A simulated practical session was set up to put into practice what was covered in our theory discussions.
