SUPPORT WAFI-GOLPU LOs FOR GROWTH.
Morobe Provincial Governments move to push for the development sounds great but that's not the best interest for the LOs. What the government continue to fails in every such project is to support in mobilizing the traditional LOs of such projects to become partners. The LOs must participate in such projects. How effective is the Public Private Landowner Partnership (PPLOP) Policy? It's not working at all in PNG and no government has.ever thought about it and the policy is.covered by dusts in the cupboards somewhere in Waigani. PPLOP Policy is the best option for LOs.to particioate in development. This is where growth can be seen. The most important area the MPG can look into is to support the struggling LOs by assisting them to mobilize themselves and prepare themselves to fully participate in
Wafi-Golpu project development.By this I mean supporting the LOs to do
proper Social Mapping and completing ILGs exercises. This is where you realize your dreams for growth.
Morobe is a very rich province. It had huge potential for Agriculture, livestock, coffee, copra, cocoa, fisheries, tourism and micro-small-medium enterprises. The way for this is to fix all rural road and transport infrastrutures and distribute Agricultural and SME funds equally.
Finally continue to push hard and fight for greater Financial Autonomy for Morobe to built and improve the rural road and transport infrastructure, education and health facilities.
