About the Asia Pacific Economic Research Foundation
The Asia Pacific Economic Research Foundation (APERF) is a think tank dedicated to addressing development challenges in the Asia-Pacific region. We facilitate discussions and debates on critical economic issues, aiming to influence policies that shape the region’s development trajectory. Our primary platform for engaging stakeholders is through Facebook, where we foster dialogue among professionals from diverse fields.
Our Network and Expertise
The foundation leverages the technical expertise of a vast network of professionals engaged in development work across Asia and the Pacific. Our members include economists, business managers, market strategists, financial experts, accountants, public reform specialists, lawyers, journalists, psychologists, consultants, academics, engineers, environmental scientists, climate change experts, public health professionals, clinicians, philosophers, theologians, and pastors. If you work in the development field, we invite you to send us a friend request and participate in our discussions to help shape policy.
Our Mission
Our goal is to foster knowledge-sharing and engage in discussions about the key issues affecting development in the Asia-Pacific region. Members are encouraged to contribute by sharing media articles, donor reports, policies, development blogs, and publicly available statistics on human development outcomes in the region.
