โจMeet Mr. Going Yangi, 45, a devoted early childhood teacher and father of 5 from Leun Village, Komba LLG, Ward 18 in Kabwum District, Morobe Province.
Trained in 2015 by a Kawbum local, Mr. Haring Quareka in early childhood training, Mr. Yangi served as the pioneer teacher in his community for almost 7 years before answering an even bigger call to the National Volunteer Service. He expressed his sincere gratitude to the National Volunteer Service for recognising his efforts and inducting him recently as a volunteer in the education sector.
Today he teaches at Gumum Elementary School.
As Mr. Yangi says, โLeaving my family and community behind to serve other peopleโs children is a true testament of mankind through volunteerism.โ
Individuals like Mr. Yangi are true inspirational Papua New Guineans who go the extra mile to serve their people. Hats off to you Mr. Yangi, keep the fire of servitude burning!๐ฅ๐
