HOW CAN WE IDENTIFY A POSSIBLE FAKE ACCOUNT?

Here are some things we can look out for:
Is the account very new?
Does it have very little genuine activity?
Is the username slightly different from the person's real account?
Have you suddenly received another friend or follow request from someone you're already connected with?
Is the account sending you unusual messages?
Is someone asking for money or sensitive information?
These maybe warning signs but remember; one sign alone does not automatically prove an account is fake.
The safest thing to do is VERIFY.
Contact the person through a communication method you already trust.
ASK
Is this really your account?
Don't guess, Don't assume
STOP. CHECK. VERIFY
