Loan Eligibility

At National Finance we believe in making the loan application process as simple as possible. We also understand that in most cases applications are of an urgent nature so we undertake in most cases to draw funds down within a 24 hour period direct to your bank account from time of receipt of your loan application.

Rapid turn around and delivery therefore becomes key and is a critical component of the overall loans process.

Loan Criteria and Policy

Our normal/standard criteria are as follows:

Personal Loans from K1,000

Repayment terms from 5 Fortnights to 39 Fortnights depending upon amount;

Longer terms for approved customers and those re-financing;

Signed and completed Loan Application Form;

Signed and completed Irrevocable Salary Deduction/PVA Authority stamped and signed by HR/Payroll;

Employment Confirmation Letter confirming start date and salary with your existing employer of at least twelve months;

Last two pay slips not more than 30 days old;

Copy of Identification such as Employee ID card, Driver’s License, Nasfund Membership Card, Passport, etc

If Re-financing the latest statement for all existing loans;

Flexibility

We also recognise and appreciate that everyone’s situation is different and as such we believe in being as flexible as possible.

For example, whilst we generally insist on loan repayments being met via Salary Deduction for private company employees, in some instances we may consider other options such as Direct Deposit or Bank Standing Order. Due to the additional risk factors these options attract a slightly higher rate than via Salary Deduction and is only approved on a case by case basis to applications with a sound borrowing history.

For all Public Sector employees the normal loan repayment method is via "Permanent Variation Advice".
