Because God is spirit, we can be aware of and thankful for His constant presence with us in every situation.

Woman is God's idea for man. It wasn't man's idea...

Genesis 2:18
And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.”

Genesis 2: 21-22
And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.

It is God's role to bring a comparable woman to the man, but instead, man is looking for a woman that meets his desire. This is why most marriages are failing because relationship built upon desire, beauty, pleasure will not sustain the test of time. Man's role is to draw closer to God and be at rest (deep sleep, peace in His creator), knowing that as he draws closer to God, God will draw a comparable (not perfect) helper closer to him to help them fulfill their destiny together as one. What keeps marriages intact is God in the midst of the relationship. ...a threefold cord is not quickly broken (Ecclesiastes 4:12)

It was God who brought the woman to the man...not the other way around or love at the first sight.

It's critical for young people to understand this truth at a young age. Stop following the world's trend. Stop pursuing a man or woman who pleases your eye and fulfills your desires; rather, learn to pursue God and wait on his perfect will to reveal His comparable companion (helpmate) for your life. As man pursues after God and the woman pursues after God, they both will meet while pursuing and serving God together. This is how you identify God's comparable helpmate in your life.
