🌍 20 Days of Human Rights Activism: Standing Against GBV Together into the future

Gender-based violence (GBV) is not just a personal issue—it’s a societal crisis that holds back progress, equality, and the potential of women in Papua New Guinea. As we work on the second iteration of the Women’s Business Agenda, we’ve heard inspiring stories of resilient women entrepreneurs who’ve risen above immense challenges. Yet, many of these challenges are rooted in gender inequality, with GBV leaving a lasting impact on their lives, businesses, and financial independence.

This issue demands action from all of us—whether in the public, private sector or at home. Men must join women as advocates for change, standing up to end GBV once and for all. Equality is not optional; it is a basic human right.

🔹 Now is the time for tangible commitments. Let’s work together to create a safer Papua New Guinea where everyone can thrive. GBV can be eradicated—but only if we all make it a priority.

📣 Join us on the 20th Day of the Human Rights Activism as we amplify the call for justice, equality, and an end to GBV. Together, let’s build a society where every woman and girl can live free from violence and achieve their full potential.
