Newly built Solar drier fermentry for Melnenge Incorporated Business group. People of Sinamblai #1 village,Ward 17 in Turubu LLG are now privilege to sell their wet bean cocoa to Melnenge Business Group.

Melnenge Business Group have been partnership with the FAO, EU - STEIT programme since 2020 - 2026

10,000 poly bags distributed by FAO at that time. Nursery of seedlings were done by members of Melnenge Business Group and assisted by the senior cocoa specialist, Mr Beta Wandarut.Then the seedlings were distributed to the members of this group and the interested farmers to plant in their field.At that very moment Budding skills and field management was introduced to the members and farmers by our cocoa specialist Mr.Wandarut. Sinamblai #1 Village are now working on cocoa production and also 10,000 Cocoa trees have been planted already.

However, farmers are now able to sell their wet cocoa beans to Melnenge Business Group.

Our aim is to deliver 10 toea coin to the people in the village,at least thay have something on the table (RAUSIM POVERTY).....
