Obed and Ella's wedding at CCF BGC in One Bonifacio was exactly the kind of celebration you'd expect from two people who never tried to be anything other than themselves. Laidback, low-key, truly genuine, and full of warmth.
What made the day feel different was who was in the room. The guests weren't just friends and family who showed up for the occasion. Many of them were people Obed and Ella had served alongside in ministry, people who knew this relationship long before it became a wedding. That history showed when you entered the hall. The groomsmen welcomed guests as they arrived, praise and worship teammates sang songs, and after photographing them for several years, they entrusted me as their visual storyteller.
The ceremony took place in the same church where Obed first met Ella and eventually asked her out. When Obed laid down his intentions, he was direct about what he wanted--to spend his life with Ella with God being in the center. Now they stood in the same building, a few years later, saying yes in front of the community that watched it all unfold.
The whole day matched the couple. No over-the-top production, just good people, real joy, and a celebration that felt unhurried in the most beautiful way. The kind of wedding where you actually get to talk to everyone, where the atmosphere lets you breathe and take it all in.
Obed and Ella, the people who know you best were all there. What a way to start a beautiful life together.
