(BCCUI) was founded on July 20, 1964. Fr. John Tielen with other 14 parochial leaders having an initial capital of Php.625.00. In 1976, the consumer store or Kilusang Bayan sa Pamimili was added to its services and later on was consolidated to form Barbaza Multi-Purpose Cooperative and was registered with the CDA on September 11, 1992. Cable TV was launched on January 18, 1998 in addition to its s

ervices which paved the way to expand its membership to other towns. Culasi branch was opened las March 2004, Sibalom branch on July 2007, San Jose branch on September 2008, Balasan branch on August 2010, Barotac Viejo on September 2012, Caticlan on July 2013, Molo branch on May 2014, Kalibo branch on 2015 and Janiuay Branch last 2019. These branches offered lending, depositing, mortuary services for the benefit of the members. To continually improve its services, BMPC affiliated with Antique Federation of Credit Cooperatives, Inc. (AFCCUI), Visayas Cooperative Development Center (VICTO), and National Confederation of Cooperatives (NATCCO) for trainings, technical, financial assistance and linkaging. Guided by its vision, mission and adopting COOP-PESOS Standards, BMPC, a multi-awarded coop, is paving the way towards transforming and empowering the community โ€“ the reason for its birth.

๐๐š๐ซ๐›๐š๐ณ๐š ๐Œ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ข-๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฌ๐ž ๐‚๐จ๐จ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž successfully conducted a Free Operation Tuli (Circumcision Program) for young boys held at Brgy. Odiong, Altavas, Aklan last May 22, 2026, facilitated by Barbaza MPC Kalibo Branch Staff.

This meaningful initiative is part of our continuous commitment to community development and social responsibility under our ๐Ÿ• ๐…๐ฅ๐š๐ ๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ๐ฌ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐š๐ฆ, ๐ฉ๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐š๐ซ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ข๐ง ๐‡๐ž๐š๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก ๐š๐ง๐ ๐’๐š๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง. The program aims to promote proper hygiene, prevent health-related complications, and support the well-being of children, especially those from low-income families.

Yesterday, May 22, 2026, an Exit Conference was held together with the CDA Examination Team at the Coop Ocean View Resort Function Room, Poblacion, Barbaza, Antique, headed by Mr. Darwin Riego, CDS II, presenting the results, findings, insights, and recommendations from the comprehensive 5-day examination. This important activity highlights our cooperativeโ€™s commitment to strengthening operations, maintaining compliance, and continuously improving the quality of services we provide to our members and co-owners.
