SPIKE FOR A PURPOSE: A ONE DAY LEAGUE VOLLEYBALL FOR A CAUSE FOR BABY NEROH
Baby Neroh Misael Almeria, a son of our Kabarangay Niko Almeria, is currently confined in Rep. Pedro G. Trono Memorial Hospital, located at Guimbal, Iloilo. He is suffering from Pneumonia Dectocardia and Pediatric Pulmonary Tuberculosis. The parents of Neroh are now looking for a financial support in terms of medication of Baby Neroh.
Now, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Igpalge in collaboration of Igpalge Barangay Council will now organized a SPIKE FOR A CAUSE: A ONE DAY VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE FOR A CAUSE FOR BABY NEROH.

SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN ONE-DAY VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE TOURNAMENT FOR A CAUSE!
Rules and Mechanics:
1. The league is open to all interested teams whose registration will be accommodated on a first-come-first-served basis. Once a teamβs participation is confirmed, it is discouraged to back out of the league.
2. The registration fee is one thousand pesos (Php 1,000) which must be paid on or before November 9, 2024. Payment can be made through G-cash modes.
3. Assembly time is set to 7:00 am and the program will start at exactly 7:30 in the morning of November 9, 2024 to avoid delays. The venue will be at Igpalge Covered Court.
4. A minimum of eight (8) and maximum of ten (10) Players. Each player cannot switch teams as soon as that player has started playing for a particular team. All teams must submit a list of team members before the opening program.
5. The bracketing will be finalized during the said event on November 9, through draw lots.
6. All players must play with appropriate attire. A no-shoes-no-play rule will be applied. Participants must refrain from actions or attitude aim.
7. Officiating officials for the games must come from various competing teams. Each team is obliged to delegate any team member who is capable of officiating games. Likewise, line judges, ball retrievers, announcers and errand boys must also come from competing teams. The spirit of volunteerism from each team is hereby invoked for smooth facilitation of the games.
8. Participants must accept refereeβs decision with sportsmanlike conduct, without disputing them. Participants must refrain from actions or attitude aimed to influence the decision of the referee covering up faults committed by their team. Participants must behave respectfully and courteously in the spirit of fair play not only towards the referees but also to the officials, opponents, teammates and spectators.
9. Venue for the games is a public place, therefore, players and watchers are discouraged from smoking or va**ng. If they wish to smoke or v**e, they may do so in a secluded area far from the venue.
10. All players, spectators, guests, and visitors must observe cleanliness in the venue. Littering is strictly prohibited. SK officials will provide trash bags to be used for the proper disposal of garbage.
πALL TEAMS ARE ENCOURAGED TO BE AT THE VENUE ON OR BEFORE THE DESIGNATED TIME OF THE OPENING PROGRAM. WE WILL OBSERVE A FIRST GAME PENALTY OF ONE (1) POINT DISADVANTAGE FOR EVERY TWENTY (20) MINUTES THAT A TEAM ARRIVES LATE, REGARDLESS OF THE SEQUENCE OF THEIR GAMES IN THE MATCH-UP SCHEDULE. MOREOVER, IF BOTH TEAMS IN THEIR FIRST MATCH ARRIVE LATE, THEY WILL CANCEL OUT THE PENALTIES ACCORDINGLY. THE TABLE COMMITTEE SHALL DECIDE THE PENALTIES AND WILL EXPLAIN THE TECHNICALITIES OF THIS PARTICULAR RULE IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONSβΌοΈ
