Nabasa ko lang sa isang post and honestly napaisip din ako.

In those first few days, ayokong makarinig ng kahit ano mula sa kahit sino. Ayokong i-congratulate ako, at lalong ayoko marinig ang "I'm sorry." I was so devastated at that time. I felt like my body failed my baby.

I was crying and praying so hard the entire month na nasa NICU kami. The pain was deep, and the anxiety was overwhelming, especially at that moment when my baby's heartbeat stopped. My husband and I cried so hard.

But God is so good. My baby is a fighter, a miracle sent from above. In the middle of everything, I found myself whispering to God that whatever His will was, I would accept it.

It wasn't that I didn't appreciate the people who cared, sobrang grateful ako. But in that moment, the pain was just too heavy for words. Hindi sapat ang "congratulations," at hindi rin sapat ang "I'm sorry."

So if I have to answer the question, what felt right to hear? Honestly, neither. Because in moments like that, what you really need isn't words. You need understanding, quiet presence, and prayers. Someone who will just sit with you, without trying to fix the pain with the right thing to say.

So no... during that time, there was nothing I wanted to hear, only to be held, understood, and given space to hope and heal.
