𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿:

For taxpayers engaged in online business or with online presence, the BIR Registration Seal Badge should be prominently displayed on their website or profile page. This badge should be easily visible to the public and readily scannable that will serve as verification of their registration with the Bureau of Internal Revenue.

RMC 20-2026

Taxpayers submitting their tax returns through the Offline eBIRForms Package are advised to capture a screenshot of the pop-up message indicating that a system-generated email confirmation has been sent to the taxpayer's registered email address.

The screenshot shall serve as proof of filing and successful submission of the tax return, which may be presented to the AAB when paying the corresponding tax due, particularly in cases where there is a delay in the receipt of the official email confirmation that the return has been successfully filed.

The Securities and Exchange Commission has released Memorandum Circular No. 10, series of 2026, providing updated guidelines on reportorial compliance and the scale of penalties to ensure uniform monitoring and enforcement.

These guidelines aim to strengthen compliance standards and support transparency under the Revised Corporation Code.
