Cacao husk waste, commonly discarded after processing, can be transformed into a valuable, eco-friendly product by being used as an additive in construction materials. This approach reduces environmental waste while promoting sustainability through the conversion of agricultural by-products into useful and environmentally responsible building resources.
We are fourth-year BS Industrial Engineering students from Pamantasan ng Cabuyao (University of Cabuyao), currently conducting a research study for our Project Feasibility course. Our study focuses on the innovative use of cacao husk in producing sustainable concrete hollow blocks.
