Breaker must trip before the maximum continuous UPS load, wires must be sized within the allowable ampacity, ongrid and offgrid load separation for higher loads, proper ventilation for heat dissipation as per the manufacturer’s recommended distances, the system must be low resistance grounded, CTs and configurations must be correctly set to prevent false readings, and all connections must have proper tightening and torque, which is critical.
