STATEMENT OF FMZ LPG CENTER ON THE PROLIFERATION OF RUFRANCE LPG CANISTERS WRAPPED WITH BOTIN LPG LABELS:

FMZ LPG Center had been informed of the proliferation of Rufrance LPG canisters wrapped with BOTIN LPG labels.

We would like to state a categorical denial that we have anything to do with the said wrapping of Rufrance LPG canisters with BOTIN LPG labels.

FMZ LPG Center is always proud of being a law-abiding industry player. While we recognize that other brands are our competitors, we draw the line at doing anything illegal or improper to assert our share of the market. The wrapping of canisters belonging to one player with the name of another player, without the approval or agreement of the former, is not only improper, but possibly illegal.

We hereunto inform the public, law enforcers, and government employees, that we are not engaged in the refilling of Rufrance LPG (or any other brand except BOTIN LPG) canisters, and the only refilling plant we have is the FMZ LPG Center at Brgy. Dawis Sur, Carmen, Cebu.

Law enforcers and government employees are cautioned to exercise due care in receiving reports that we are behind this re-wrapping.

We will not hesitate to instruct our legal department to file civil, criminal, and administrative charges against law enforcers and other government employees who will connive with certain parties to harass FMZ LPG Center with false charges.

Instead, they are requested to check the background of cases DOE-VFO Case No.LPG-CEB-2023-004 before the Department of Energy - Visayas Field Office, Crim. Case No. 11009 before the MCTC Consolacion-Cordova, and Crim. Cases Nos. M-CEB-23-09242-CR and 3-CR before the MTCC Cebu City Br. 10.
