I've been struggling financially for the past couple of months since I left my job to stay home and take care of our baby. Recently, I was given the opportunity to become a business partner in a startup venture. While my partner invested the capital, I'm contributing my skills, time, and effort to help build and grow the business. The contradiction is the point.

People rarely abandon their values during hardship. They abandon them after receiving what they asked for. Gratitude fades. Conviction becomes selective. The same mouth that prayed for the blessing justifies the behavior that dishonors it.

Success does not reveal character. It reveals what character remains once desire is satisfied.

The uncomfortable reality is that many people want God's provision without God's standards. They want the outcome, not the obedience.

Integrity is measured by what happens after the prayer is answered.
