Thatโs why itโs important to reduce our carbon footprint, which means lessening the amount of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases we produce from our daily activities, like using electricity, driving cars, or shopping online.
For example, every time we order something online, energy is used to produce, package, and deliver that item, adding to carbon emissions. Choosing to buy ONLY WHAT WE NEED, supporting local products, walking or biking instead of driving short distances, and using energy-saving appliances are simple ways to lower our carbon footprint and help protect our planet.
At opinyon ko lamang, ang mga malalaki at mayayamang bansa ang dapat manguna sa seryosong pagtugon sa isyu ng climate change, dahil sila naman ang pangunahing dahilan nito. Tayo, na mga nasa laylayan, ang siyang labis na nagdurusa kapalit ng karangyaan na tinatamasa nila. Oo, nagbibigay sila ng donasyon pero hindi sapat iyon. Higit pa sa tulong-pinansyal, kailangang bawasan talaga nila nang malaki ang kanilang carbon footprint, dahil sila ang may pinakamalaking ambag sa problemang patuloy nating pinapasan.
