The First Ever Renewable Energy Co-operative of the Philippines (RECo-op) Federation

The first Pilot Solar PV Project of the Renewable Energy Cooperatives of the Philippines (RECOOP), installed at the CLIMBS Complex Building within the CLIMBS Headquarters in Cagayan de Oro City, has now reached 70% completion.

This milestone reflects RECOOP’s commitment to advancing sustainable, reliable, and cooperative-driven energy solutions. As the project progresses, it serves as a model for how cooperatives can embrace renewable energy to reduce costs, enhance energy resilience, and contribute to a greener future.

🌱⚡ 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢-𝗢𝗣 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁: 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘-𝗠𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗣𝗩 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀

The Renewable Energy Cooperative of the Philippines (RECO-OP) continues to strengthen its commitment to sustainable energy and innovative mobility solutions through its recent strategic visit to China.

As part of RECO-OP's ongoing efforts to establish strategic partnerships, the visit was joined by Mr. Noel D. Raboy, President and CEO of CLIMBS Life and General Insurance Cooperative and Director of RECO-OP, together with Mr. Renan P. Diaz, MBM, Chief Executive Officer of RECO-OP, members of the CLIMBS Top Management, and RECO-OP staff.

The visit focused on evaluating and finalizing partnerships with leading suppliers for RECO-OP's planned e-mobility initiatives, including electric bikes (e-bikes) and electric vehicles (e-vehicles), while also strengthening collaborations with trusted solar PV manufacturers to support future renewable energy projects for cooperatives across the Philippines.

Through initiatives like this, RECO-OP continues to build strategic global partnerships that will accelerate the adoption of renewable energy and sustainable mobility, empowering cooperatives and communities with innovative, future-ready solutions.
