In view of the recent earthquake that affected South Central Mindanao, the Bureau of Internal Revenue has issued Revenue Memorandum Circular (RMC) No. 62-2026, extending the deadlines for the filing of tax returns, submission of required attachments, and payment of corresponding taxes for taxpayers under 𝗥𝗗𝗢 𝗡𝗼. 𝟭𝟭𝟬 (𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗼𝘀 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶) 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗗𝗢 𝗡𝗼. 𝟭𝟭𝟭 (𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗼).

𝗕𝗜𝗥 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘: BIR ODERS ONLINE BUSINESSES TO DISPLAY REGISTRATION SEAL BADGE

The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has issued RMC No. 38-2026 requiring online businesses, freelancers, vloggers, influencers, and digital service providers to display a BIR Registration Seal Badge on their websites, e-commerce pages, or social media accounts.

The badge serves as proof of BIR Registration and aims to improve transparency, consumer protection, and tax compliance in the digital economy.

Per BIR Commissioner Charlito Mendoza said the measure helps buyers verify legitimate online sellers while strengthening accountanbility among digital businesses.

🗓️ Revised Deadlines:

• SEC Form 52-AR of Brokers & Dealers: 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The Securities and Exchange Commission has extended the temporary use of the 2020 General Information Sheet (GIS) Form for filing through eFAST until 15 May 2026.

Corporations that are still setting up their eSECURE accounts may continue to use the 2020 GIS Form during this extended period.
