π WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY | OCTOBER 10
Not every battle is visible. Not every pain can be explained by words. And not every person who smiles is truly okay.
Sometimes, you can love Jesus, serve in ministry, encourage others, and still have days when your own heart feels heavy.
Being a Christian doesn't mean you will never feel anxious, tired, overwhelmed, or emotionally drained.
Even in difficult seasons, remember that Jesus invites the weary to come to Him. You don't have to hide your struggles to prove your faith.
βCast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.β β 1 Peter 5:7 π
Dili nimo kinahanglan pas-anon tanan ikaw ra. It's okay to rest. It's okay to cry. It's okay to open up and ask for help. God can work through prayer, trusted friends, family, pastors, and mental health professionals.
Today, let us be a little more understanding and a little less judgmental. Instead of saying, βKaya ra lagi na nimo,β sometimes the best words are, βNaa ra ko diri. Maminaw ko.β
You may not be able to fix someone's struggles, but your kindness can remind them that they don't have to face everything alone.
π Check on your loved ones.
π Listen without judging.
π Give yourself permission to rest.
π Encourage others to seek the support they need.
Your struggles do not make you less worthy of love. Your difficult days do not define your whole story. And in every season, Jesus cares for you.
