No shrimp, no tinapa? No problem—clams it is! And bucheron as a topping? Surprisingly sooo good! 😋

Sometimes you just work with what you have and end up with something worth eating 3x. 😂

One of the best airport layovers I've ever had was at Incheon International Airport in South Korea. 🇰🇷✈️
We had almost a 4-hour layover, and honestly, I wouldn't have minded staying longer. I enjoyed a steaming bowl of spicy pork kimchi stew (so flavorful!) while waiting for our next flight. 🍲❤️

What impressed me most? The airport has fast, free unlimited Wi-Fi the moment you step off the plane, spotlessly clean restrooms with heated seats and built-in bidet sprays, plenty of comfortable seating, charging outlets almost everywhere, water fountains, and even restrooms near every gate. It made waiting for our flight surprisingly relaxing.

If you're booking an international trip, I'd definitely consider choosing a route with a layover at Incheon Airport. Sometimes the airport itself becomes part of the travel experience. ✈️✨

I've always known abalone is expensive, but I never really thought about why until I had it at this Golden Wedding Anniversary. 🐚

I've seen it served at Chinese banquets before, but I never knew how difficult it is to harvest. Wild abalone cling tightly to rocks underwater, so divers have to free dive and carefully remove them without damaging the shellfish. It reminded me of the haenyeo divers in Korean dramas.

It also made me appreciate how rich our Philippine seas are. Native abalone can be found in places like Palawan and parts of the Visayas, although most people rarely see them because they're often sold to restaurants or specialty buyers.

Makes you appreciate every bite a little more. 🇵🇭🌊

We only spent 4 days in Iloilo, but we came home with memories we'll never forget.

My daughter absolutely loves her native Guimaras backpack—one of our favorite souvenirs. 🌿

The airline crew even offered to check in our carry-on for free, but we politely declined. 😅 Why? Because it was packed with 2 dozen Roberto's siopao for our family in Manila, and we weren't about to let them get squished!

And the Guimaras mangoes? They truly deserve all the hype. 🥭 Iloilo mangoes are already sweet, but Guimaras mangoes are on another level. They're unbelievably juicy and naturally sweet!

If you ever visit Western Visayas, don't leave without trying Roberto's siopao and Guimaras mangoes. They're worth bringing home. 💛
