Peso Sense
I put premium in my work as a legislator and today another bill of mine has been signed into law.
Our nation stands proud once again as President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. signed the Self-Reliant Defense Posture Revitalization bill into law in Malacañang.
As a principal author and former Vice Chairperson of the Committee on Appropriations, where I championed the budget for the Department of National Defense in previous years, I am welcoming this remarkable and timely legislation that marks a bold step forward for our country in strengthening our defense posture program, while promoting the development of our national defense industry.
Ini nga layi ga duso na kita na mismo ang mag manufacture sa atun na mga defense equipments, vehicles kag iban nga gamit. E prioridad man dayon ang defense technology na e develop sg mga Filipinos kag pwede man ini e export sa iban nga lugar. Republic Act 12024 would support long-term economic benefits and contribute to job creation and technological advances in the Philippines.
There is no doubt that the Philippines becomes a stronger nation through this proactive measure. I extend my gratitude to President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. and all my colleagues in Congress for this milestone!
