February 10, 1985, 36 years ago today, the Mindanao Community Theatre Network (MCTN) was formally organized in the CORUM Compound in Midsayap, North Cotabato at the first Congress of Mindanao Community Theatres.

The rest is history. This Mindanao community theatre identity and unity continues on till today, etched in the hearts of every Mindanao community theatre practitioner and enthusiast.
