In view of the continued implementation of the suspension of work in government offices within the City of Koronadal following the recent seismic activity, 𝙤𝙣-𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙖𝙩 𝘾𝙃𝙀𝘿 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙓𝙄𝙄 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙨𝙪𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙙 𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙡 𝙅𝙪𝙣𝙚 9, 2026.

In view of the recent earthquake and in consideration of the safety and welfare of all personnel and clients, work at the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office XII (CHEDRO XII) is hereby suspended effective immediately.

While on-site operations are suspended, clients and stakeholders may continue to access and avail our services through the Office’s online platforms. All requests, inquiries, and other transactions may be submitted electronically and shall be processed accordingly in due course.

Regular office operations shall resume on 𝟵 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, unless otherwise advised through subsequent announcements.

Happy Pride Month from the Commission on Higher Education International Affairs Service (CHED IAS)! This June, we celebrate the vibrant identity, resilience, and invaluable contributions of the LGBTQIA+ community within our higher education sector and beyond. In the pursuit of global standards of learning, we firmly believe that excellence cannot exist without inclusivity. Our classrooms, research laboratories, and international spaces are made richer and more innovative because of the diverse perspectives brought forth by LGBTQIA+ students, faculty, and administrative drivers.

CHED IAS proudly stands with our Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) as they actively champion gender-fair education, safe spaces, and anti-discrimination initiatives across our campuses. Today, 28 May 2026, the CHEDRO XII 𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃𝐑𝐎 𝐗𝐈𝐈 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐓𝐍𝐇𝐄) 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 convened a strategic discussion meeting with the administrators and academic deans of 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐫𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐊𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 (𝐍𝐃𝐊𝐂), led by Vice President for Administration, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐊𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐦 𝐑𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐞. The meeting was held at the Conference Room, CHED Regional Office XII, Prime Regional Center, Barangay Carpenter Hill, Koronadal City.

Under the leadership of the visionary Regional Director, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐑𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐏. 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐚, CHEDRO XII was represented by Education Supervisor II and Internationalization (IZN) Focal, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐆𝐮𝐲 𝐏. 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐲, together with Project Technical Staff III for Transnational Higher Education (TNHE), 𝐌𝐫. 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐌. 𝐎𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐨.

The engagement focused on key discussions regarding the internationalization of Philippine Higher Education Institutions, including global rankings, internationalization strategies, and relevant initiatives that further promote global competitiveness, academic excellence, and international collaboration among HEIs.

The activity reflects CHEDRO XII’s continuing commitment to guiding and empowering institutions in Region XII toward meaningful and sustainable internationalization efforts in alignment with global higher education standards.
