WANT TO MAKE A MINDFUL SPENDING HABIT IN 2023?
Here's a simple hack ...

1. Get a post-it note and a pen.
2. Put it in your wallet, on your computer monitor, and on your phone case.
3. Whatever you typically look at when you are about to spend money.

4. Write these two sentences on it:
"Do I really need this?"
“What do I want more?”

That’s it.

If you can take a moment to pause and think about what you really want before making a spending decision, you’ll find that most of your spending doesn’t really align.

This tip helped me save money and become a more generous supporter of charitable causes. I traded my spending on junk food and clothes for donating to a variety of nonprofits because I simply want a kinder, healthier, and more equitable world more than a new outfit.
