UNIT: Headquarters Charlie Company, Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion

Personnel from Charlie Company joined the 11th Battalion Civil-Military Operations (CMO), in coordination with the 1301st Battalion and 1501st Brigade under the command of 2LT KENNETH CUNANAN PA (RES), for a Peace Rally in Barangay Catmon, Malabon City. Working alongside our partners from the PNP, BJMP, Barangay Catmon Officials, and Malabon LGU, troops assembled at Shell Catmon at 0700H, conducted formation and accountability, and proceeded with the peaceful procession to Catmon Peopleโ€™s Park.

The program opened with the flag-raising ceremony, introductions of agency representatives, and a briefing on the peace initiativeโ€™s objectives. Food packs were distributed to all participants, followed by proper dismissal of personnel.

โœ… Mission Accomplished. The Peace Rally was successfully conducted โ€” all personnel accounted for, no untoward incidents reported. We remain dedicated to peace, unity, and community service.

While en route to report for duty, Pvt Jali John A Galicia PA (Res) and Pvt Jaycheryl L Carcellar PA (Res) encountered a road traffic incident and immediately rendered assistance to the victim. Without hesitation and regardless of the hour, they acted with urgency and compassion โ€” demonstrating that the call to serve is not confined to designated posts, but is a commitment that accompanies every soldier, at all times and in all places.

Equipped with high-visibility safety gear, life vests, spine boards, throw ropes, and life rings, the unit's dedicated search and rescue team conducted critical inspections and operational briefings to guarantee immediate deployment capabilities.
