5 SUBJECTS NA LALABAS SA 2ND BATCH NG CIVIL SERVICE EXAM:

1. Verbal Ability – English grammar, correct usage, vocabulary, at reading comprehension. Expect questions about subject-verb agreement, synonyms & antonyms, sentence construction at pag-arrange ng paragraph.

2. Numerical Ability – Pag aralan ulit ang BASICS katulad ng fractions, decimals, percentage, PEMDAS, ratio and word problems. Lahat yan kasama sa exam. Meron din ditong number sequence.

3. Analytical Ability (for prof only) – Ito yung may logic part. May patterns and situational questions. Use elimination technique, alisin agad yung halatang maling sagot para hindi kayo malito.

4. Clerical Ability (for subprof only) – May filing (alphabetical/numerical), spelling, following instructions, at basic office-type questions. Kailangan dito accurate ka at detail-oriented.

5. General Information – About 1987 Philippine Constitution, branches of government, Philippine history and current events.

Thank You for the knowledge, strength, and opportunity to take the Civil Service Exam.

As I begin this exam, I ask for Your guidance and wisdom.
Calm my mind and remove all fears, doubts, and anxieties.
Grant me clarity of thought, sharpness of memory, and focus as I answer each question.

Help me remember the lessons I have studied and understand every item clearly.
Guide me to choose the right answers with confidence and honesty.

Lord, bless all the efforts, sacrifices, and time I have given to prepare for this moment.

STRATEGIES TO PASS THE MARCH AND AUGUST CIVIL SERVICE EXAM:

1. First 1-20 items ay puro PERSONAL QUESTIONS lang. Bilisan niyo lang pagsagot dun dahil walang tama o mali dun. Need lang talaga yun masagutan. Hindi rin ito kasama sa final score or rating niyo.

2. You have around 3hrs para masagutan lahat ng items. Unahin nyo yung subject na madali para sa inyo, para madami na agad sure na sagot. Then proceed na sa mahihirap na questions.

3. If hindi ka sure sa sagot, skip agad at balikan na lang. Hindi ka dapat magtagal sa isang question dahil mauubusan ka ng oras.

4. No calculator allowed, bawal din magdala ng sariling scratch paper. Pero pwede kayo mag-solve sa mismong test booklet at yun ang gawing scratch paper. Remember na sa test booklet lang kayo pwede mag-solve, hindi sa answer sheet.

5. Please arrive early! Maraming hindi na pinapayagan mag exam dahil late. Maaga matulog before exam day para maaga magising at makarating sa testing venue.

6. Wear comfortable clothes, bring extra ballpens (bawal po gel pens) and wag kalimutan ang valid ID kasi hahanapin yun ng proctors.

7. ENGLISH - Maraming grammar, synonyms at antonyms sa exam. At dapat may reading comprehension din dito dahil may mahahabang paragraphs or stories kayong babasahin sa subject na 'to. Unahin basahin ang questions bago magbasa ng stories para alam mo na agad anong hahanapin.

8. MATH - Pag-aralan ang BASICS. Fractions, percentage, PEMDAS, integers, decimals.. dahil lahat yan laging nasa exam. ✅

9. LOGIC - Basahing mabuti ang instructions at hanapin agad ang pattern. Use elimination technique, alisin agad yung halatang maling sagot para hindi kayo malito.

10. GENERAL INFO - Maliit lang ang percentage nito sa overall rating or scores pero importante na masagutan pa rin 'to.

11. PRAY. Magdasal before and after the exam. 🙏
