Leadership Reality #001
Asking for help doesn’t make you less of a leader.
One of the biggest traps in leadership is ego—the feeling that because you’re the leader, you should know everything, solve everything, and never need anyone’s help.
But too much ego can make a leader stop listening, reject feedback, hide mistakes, and make decisions just to prove a point.
Eventually, the team feels it too.
Asking for help means you understand that leadership isn’t about being the smartest person in the room. It’s about knowing when to listen, when to collaborate, and when someone else may have a better answer.
You don’t lose authority by saying, “I don’t know” or “I need help.”
Sometimes, you actually earn more respect.
Leave the ego behind.
You don’t have to prove that you can carry everything alone.
Great leaders know how to lead.
Wise leaders know when to ask for help.
