PRC Work Arrangement on April 16, 2025

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 81, all PRC Main Offices (Morayta and Regional Offices) shall be under work-from-home arrangement on 16 April 2025 from 8:00AM to 12:00NN. All transactions, queries and concerns for the said offices will be accommodated via official email and through CRMS.

Meanwhile, all PRC Offsite and Service Centers (Nationwide) will accommodate onsite transactions under skeletal workforce from 8:00AM to 12:00NN.

On the other hand, all PRC operations in ALL PRC OFFICES (Central-Morayta, ROs, Offsite/Service Centers) from 12:01PM to 5:00PM shall be temporarily suspended. Affected transactions and/or appointments will be catered upon resumption of operations.

Temporary Suspension of Operation

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) informs the public of the temporary suspension of frontline services in all PRC Regional Offices, including Satellite, and Offsite Service Centers on March 24, 2025 (Monday) due to various post-licensure activities for the March Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT).

Affected appointments will be accommodated upon resumption of frontline services on March 25, 2025 (Tuesday).

Submission of Original SPA or Original Authorization Letter by Authorized Representative and Maximum Number of Transactions that can be Accommodated by the PRC-ROs

To ascertain the authenticity and validity of the Special Power of Attorney (SPA) and Authorization Letter, and not to expose the professionals' data or personal information to a person or individual whose authority to represent them is not duly determined, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) informs the public that the additional requirement of a SPA or Authorization Letter to be submitted by the representative of concerned professionals shall be accepted only in its ORIGINAL FORM. Mere electronic copy or photocopies of said SPA or authorization letter shall not be considered proof of authority.

Also, considering the available resources and capacity of the PRC service centers, and pursuant to PRC Memorandum Order No. 93 (s. 2022), the maximum number of transactions per liaison officer or authorized representative per PRC Regional Office shall be determined/set by the concerned Regional Director.

For information on the maximum of transactions allowed for liaison officers or authorized representatives, transacting clients are advised to coordinate with the concerned Regional Office having jurisdiction over their appointment place

Due to the raising of Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal Nos. 1, 2 and 3 in most areas of Luzon in view of the persistent intense rainfall and strong winds brought about by Severe Tropical Storm “Kristine,” to further aid in the rescue, relief, and recovery efforts of the government, and upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, work in government offices and classes at all levels in Luzon are hereby suspended on 25 October 2024.

​Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services are hereby directed to continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The localized cancellation or suspension of classes and/or work in government offices in other areas may be implemented by their respective Local Chief Executives, pursuant to relevant laws, rules and regulations.

​The suspension of work for private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective heads.

This is pursuant to the declaration of the Office of the Executive Secretary, suspending work in all government offices in Luzon due to severe Tropical Storm “Kristine”.

Appointments set on the said date will be accommodated upon resumption of operations.

However, those agencies whose functions involve the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work for private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective heads.

This Circular shall take effect immediately.
