A living religious and cultural tradition of the Bitaugnon community, Serong is officially included in the Local Cultural Inventory of the Municipality of Burgos and is compliant with the standards of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA).

🕓 Holy Mass: 4:00 PM
⛪ Venue: Bitaug Chapel

🕕 Serong Ritual: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
💃 Followed by: Benefit Dance
Venue: Barangay Gymnasium

All proceeds from the benefit dance will support Catholic Church projects in Barangay Bitaug.

Following the magnitude 7.6 earthquake in Davao, a tsunami alert has been raised.

Residents of Siargao Island particularly in Burgos and nearby coastal areas are strongly advised to move to higher ground immediately and stay away from the shoreline. Please remain calm but alert.

Local authorities, the MDRRMO, and the BDRRMCs are closely monitoring the situation. Stay tuned to official government advisories for updates and refrain from spreading unverified information.
