You might be right. 🤔
If your emergency fund can handle a major hospital bill,
months (or years) of no income, and still leave your family financially okay, then maybe you really DON’T NEED INSURANCE.
But let’s make it simple:
Emergency fund = for small to medium problems.
Insurance = for big, life-changing problems.
Because your savings has a limit. Once it’s used up, that’s it.
Insurance exists for the kind of situations that are too heavy to carry alone.
So the real question is not:
“Do I have enough savings?”
It’s:
“If something serious happens…
am I okay using all my money for it?”
Because saying “I don’t need insurance”
just means one thing:
You’re choosing to pay for everything on your own.
And sometimes, what we think is “enough” is only enough… until life proves otherwise.
