Real talk ta.
Sa tinood lang, there are moments when I ask myself what exactly is my endgame with this grassroots work?
Mobyahe kag layo. Leave the comfort zone. Show up for communities that most people wouldn’t even bother to visit. And yes, other people will talk. “Yahaya” oi, cge rag byahe. Like the travel itself is the point.
But here’s the thing. The road was never the story.
The story is the local supplier who wakes up every day with nothing but passion and a product they believe in. The one hustling to make a sale and build a life at the same time. No big backing. No fancy platform. Just grit, and the hope that someone will show up and say — I see what you’re building. Let’s work.
That’s my endgame.
That’s why I keep going.
Grateful for every farmer I met along the way, and to DTI for the trust and the opportunity to serve.
