Maaaan, I hosted a formal event last Monday after finding out about it at 11:30am, and it was starting at 1pm already. I was at the university in Angeles for my enrollment wearing just a plain black top, jeans, and sneakers, while the venue was still in San Fernando. I didn’t know it was that formal until I was told everyone would be in filipiniana and barong 😭 but since it was emergency or on-the-spot hosting, they said what I was wearing would already be fine.
Still accepted the challenge anyway, and somehow ended up hosting the oath-taking ceremony for the newly registered Master Plumbers. Got to network with the PRC Director for Master Plumbing, board members, and officers from different chapters too. Grateful for experiences like this honestly.
