On September 30, 2026, the Embassy of Chile hosted a seminar to initiate dialogue between the ASEAN and Latin-America region. The briefing provided updated information about their countries to educate students and faculty about ongoing issues.

The event was partnered with the Embassy of Chile to celebrate their 80th anniversary. The University of Asia and Pacific helped them execute this insightful event.

Through educated dialogue, citizens are provided with a chance to be informed about the current status of the ASEAN countries and the Latin-America region. Our utmost appreciation to the Embassy of Chile and UA&P for collaborating to deliver this seminar.

The Philippines as the Archipelagic Sentinel: Advancing the Blue Economy, Safeguarding Shared Seas, and Fostering Partnerships

On September 18, 2026, UA&P Law hosted a forum examining the Philippines' maritime future across the following sectors: the Blue Economy, maritime security, critical infrastructure, and ASEAN's maritime security landscape. The forum offered insightful discussions on the current state and future of the Philippines' maritime security.

The event was held in partnership with the Department of National Defense, Australian Aid and Waypoints, and Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, and it brought together distinguished guests from the National Security Council, the Department of National Defense, and other key agencies.

Through Balanghay forums, participants gain a deeper awareness of the current state of the Philippines' maritime security and the chance to build partnerships that further nurture the country as an archipelagic nation. On August 26, 2026, the UA&P Business Economics Club hosted a midyear business economics briefing focusing on the navigation of the Philippinesโ€™ Real Estate through analyzing its economic trends, risks, and returns. Their briefing provided data-driven insights and suggestions by knowledgeable speakers and specialists to investigate the Philippinesโ€™ economic growth.

The event was welcomed by Ms. Diana Rueda, leading to an impactful discussion by Dr. Victor Abola, Mr. David Leechiu, and Dr. Bernardo Villegas. They discussed everything starting from the impacts of interest rates to expanding property epicenters.

On August 26, 2026, leaders, policymakers, and representatives gathered together at the PLDT Hall for a talk on resilience in local governance and development. It was organized by the Center for Research and Communication of the University of Asia and the Pacific. The event gathered visionary minds to address one of the most pressing regional issues.

We were honored to usher various distinguished guests of leaders together with our renowned economist, Dr. Bernardo Villegas who is also one of the main founders of the University. JNS was able to contribute their hands-on service by welcoming respective guests alongside top industry specialists.

Our esteemed speakers tackled actionable solutions to ensure long-term water security through adaptable infrastructure, empowered governance, and strong collaborations among organizations.
