Basic Filipino Sign Language (FSL) Class
Start Your Journey in Learning Filipino Sign Language!

Interested in learning Filipino Sign Language (FSL)? Join our Basic Filipino Sign Language (FSL) Class and learn the fundamentals of FSL while gaining a deeper understanding of Deaf culture.

This introductory course is designed for beginners who want to develop basic signing skills and communicate effectively with Deaf individuals. Through interactive lessons and practical activities, participants will build a strong foundation in Filipino Sign Language and help promote an inclusive community.

💻 Thursday: 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Online via Zoom)
🏫 Saturday: 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM (Face-to-Face)

Canigaran, Barangay Bancao-Bancao, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan

🎓 Certificate of Completion

Participants who successfully complete all training sessions and meet the course requirements will receive a Certificate of Completion.

📹 Important Reminder

Participants are required to keep their cameras on during all online sessions to ensure active participation, effective communication, and signing practice throughout the training.

🤝 Palawan Sign Language Interpreting Center Joins the 48th National Disability Rights Week! 💙🤟
On July 17, 2026, the Uniworld Palawan Sign Language Interpreting Center (PSIC) proudly participated in the 48th National Disability Rights Week by setting up an interactive booth to promote Filipino Sign Language (FSL) and advocate for the inclusion of the Deaf community.
We are truly grateful to the City Government of Puerto Princesa, especially the Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO), for inviting us to be part of this meaningful event.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who visited our booth, learned about FSL, followed our page, subscribed to our YouTube channel, and showed your support for the Deaf community. Your encouragement inspires us to continue promoting inclusion, accessibility, and equal opportunities for all.

Intermediate Filipino Sign Language (FSL) Class
Take Your Signing Skills to the Next Level!

Have you completed the Basic Filipino Sign Language (FSL) Class? Continue your learning journey with our Intermediate FSL Class!

This course is exclusively for graduates of the Basic Filipino Sign Language (FSL) Class who want to further develop their communication skills. Participants will learn intermediate-level vocabulary, sentence construction, conversational signing, and gain a deeper understanding of Deaf culture.

🤟 Deaf Awareness & Inclusion Program
Theme: "Hands Speak Movement"

On June 26, 2026, the PSIC successfully conducted the Deaf Awareness & Inclusion Program at Palawan National School.

The program equipped SNED teachers with a deeper understanding of Deaf culture and Filipino Sign Language (FSL), promoting inclusive communication and greater awareness of the Deaf community. Participants learned 111 Filipino Sign Language words and signs, actively engaged in interactive activities, and demonstrated enthusiasm in using FSL.

Together, let us continue promoting accessibility, inclusion, and equal opportunities for the Deaf community—because every hand has a voice.

🎉 Celebrating a Milestone in Inclusion! 🤟💙

The Palawan Sign Language Interpreting Center (PSIC) proudly conducted the Filipino Sign Language (FSL) Basic Course Completion Ceremony on June 20, 2026, at the YMC 2nd Floor.

This special occasion celebrated the hard work, dedication, and achievements of our FSL learners who successfully completed the Basic Course. The ceremony featured inspirational messages, an FSL skills showcase, the awarding of certificates, and the recognition of our learners' commitment to promoting inclusive communication.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our completers, guest participants, volunteers, PSIC staff, DMC staff, and everyone who contributed to the success of this meaningful event. Your support and commitment continue to inspire us to promote Filipino Sign Language education, accessibility, and Deaf advocacy throughout our communities.

While this ceremony marks the completion of the Basic Course, it also marks the beginning of a greater journey—to become advocates for inclusion, accessibility, and equal communication opportunities for the Deaf community.

Together, let us continue breaking communication barriers and building a more inclusive Palawan—one sign at a time. 🤟💙
