She grew up in a small house with peeling paint and a roof that whispered during heavy rains. Yet despite the hardships, Serenity carried herself with quiet grace, her kindness often outshining the circumstances she came from.
Everything began to change the day she met Noreen.
Noreen was everything Serenity thought she wasn’t—confident, cheerful, and effortlessly elegant. Coming from an upper middle-class family, Noreen lived in a spacious home filled with laughter and warmth. But what surprised Serenity most was not Noreen’s lifestyle—it was her sincerity. Noreen never treated Serenity as someone “less.” Instead, she treated her like a sister.
