Atlas Consolidated Mining and Development Corporation returned to profitability in the second quarter, posting P3.97 billion in net income as higher gold and copper prices boosted its financial performance. The result reversed a P249.56 million net loss recorded in the same period last year and contributed to P4.6 billion in net income for the first half of 2026.

Consolidated revenues rose 46% year on year to P24.7 billion in the first half, despite lower output at Carmen Copper Corp. in Cebu as mining progressed deeper into the pit. Higher realized metal prices more than offset the production decline, with gold averaging $4,622 per ounce and copper $5.57 per pound during the period.
