Communication: It's a Skill, Not Just a Trait đź’¬

I used to think some people were just "naturally good" at speaking. But I’ve learned that communication is a skill — and I can build it.

I just completed my training in Communication Skills, and it gave me so much more than tips or techniques. It gave me confidence. It taught me how to be more present in conversations, handle feedback better, and speak with clarity — even when I feel nervous inside.

To anyone who's still second-guessing themselves when speaking up — you're not alone, and you can learn it too. I’m proof. 💜

Sometimes I look at my life and think, ' Wow.'
Because honestly, I’ve been through so much.

I’m a mom of two, and they’re my reason for everything.
But I’m also a virtual assistant, an e-commerce business owner, and a lash artist.

Amber Lash Sorsogon? I built it from scratch.
No help, no team. Just me — doing what I could with what I had.
I opened up online appointments by Myself. I designed my own page. Posted consistently. Talked to every single client.
I did the lashes, replied to messages, fixed my schedule — everything.

And little by little… it grew.
Just like me.

There were days I cried from exhaustion. Days I felt like giving up.
But I kept showing up. For my kids. For myself.
Now, when I look back, I don’t just see a business… I see my growth.
I see a woman who didn’t wait for perfect conditions — she just started.

I’m still learning, still figuring it out, but one thing I know for sure:
I’m proud of the woman I’m becoming.

So to every mom, every woman doing her best and wearing all the hats —
You are doing so much more than you realize.
Keep going. You got this. 🤍
