5 days post op.
3 days no pain meds.
Went #2 for the first time.

Walking better each day.
Making meals for the fam.
Doing small chores slowly.
No lifting over 2 lbs.

Fam surprised me with groceries and flowers this morning ☀️

First day post op from laparoscopic hysterectomy.

My uterus grew a cantaloupe🍈 sized fibroids and was pushing against my bladder.
Surgeon took 3hours to finish the case.
I can’t remember everything but I feel ok. The first 24hours consists of gas pains from the gas trapped in my body. Some dryness in my throat. Peeing also hurts. My lungs felt weird. My abdomen is sore. But I am well.

I can walk.
I can eat anything again.
I had coffee first thing in the morning.
Today’s goal is to shower and walk more.

Millie, four years old and Nellie five years old. Cotton pickers on a farm near Houston, Millie picks eight pounds a day and Nellie thirty pounds. This is nearly every day.
