El Niño Alert issued ⚠️

DOST-PAGASA has officially raised its ENSO Alert and Warning System to El Niño Alert, following the high likelihood of its development in the coming months and possible persistence into early 2027. This may bring drier-than-usual conditions, including dry spells and droughts in parts of the country.

However, above-normal rainfall may still be experienced over the western sections during the Habagat season.

Affected DU and Date:

BOHECO 1 ( Bohol I Electric Cooperative, Inc. ) (Panglao Lourdes and Bolod Substations) - 27 April, 5:00AM-7:00AM

BOHECO 1 (Baclayon and Loay Substations) - 29 April, 5:00PM-7:00PM

Specific areas affected shall be determined by the electric coop. NGCP will exert all efforts to restore power earlier, or as scheduled.
