Congratulations to Solar Island for securing a spot in the 𝑻𝒐𝒑 5 𝑾𝒊𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒔 and earning the 𝑷𝑨𝑹𝑻𝑰𝑪𝑰𝑷𝑨𝑻𝑰𝑶𝑵 𝑫𝒀𝑵𝑨𝑴𝑶 𝑨𝑾𝑨𝑹𝑫 in this year's Ready, Spark, Charge: Hacking the Future of Sustainable Energy competition presented by New Energy Nexus - Philippines

The team is comprised of Electrical Engineering students from Bohol Island State University Main Campus, namely Lannil Calizar, Cielo Jane Rulona, Kevin Lloren Odarve, Angeli Amor Corage, and Carryl Nicole Azucenas. They are supported by their coaches, Engr. Marc Joseph Batoy and Engr. Arnel Valenciano, as well as their adviser, Dr. Dave J. Pojadas. This achievement stands as a testament to the collaborative efforts of the team. Through steadfast dedication and hard work, we can pave the way toward a future powered by sustainable energy!

Our RSC 2023 finalists aced the art of crafting compelling pitch presentations in a highly successful session.

The session centered around refining their pitching skills, an essential aspect for effectively communicating their innovative ideas. Topics included crafting compelling narratives, engaging the audience, and delivering impactful presentations.

We are very excited to witness them as they pitch their startup idea in the much awaited Demo Day this November 24, 2023.

In an energetic and insightful orientation session just this afternoon, our RSC 2023 finalists delved into crucial topics that they need to take note moving forward in the competition.✨

The orientation delved into the competition timeline, mentoring schedule and toolkit, funds disbursement process and demo day expectations.

Mentoring sessions starts this week, with the goal of helping the teams refine their ideas.
