“Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.” - Seneca

Congratulations to my mentees for bagging the Social Impact Innovation Award at the recently concluded InnovFest 2026 – CORE Cebu Hackathon by PhilDev Foundation at the University of the Philippines Cebu! 🥳

So, after a 6 hour workshop on the 3rd day of the 5 day Hackathon, I came on the 4th day as a learner since startup pitches isn't really something I can say I'm an expert at.

I've only been a part of an offline hackathon once, and that was 11 years again.

Sure I've sent thousands of pitches and proposals to prospects for my ad agency back then but I know, a startup pitch is just a whole new beast in its own as we're pitching for grants or investment rather than an exchange of goods and/or services.

After a very insightful morning, I was already planning to go back to the office after eating lunch.

Then the universe had other plans...

Sir JR approach me that a mentor backed out and was hoping if I could step in instead.

Although not part of the plan, when I knew that the startups were in agriculture and drones, I didn't hesitate at all.

I have keen interest in agriculture as I myself have a humble farm lot and I'm even a part of an established agri startup. When it comes to drones, well, I've been a drone pilot for nearly 10 years now as photography and videography (on both land and air) is my preferred creative outlet.

I definitely felt prepared and qualified enough to step in and mentor these startups given my experiences and interests.

And this story right here is but another example that luck is something we all can prepare for. 🥳

Today, after nearly 5 years in the making, we're finally offering OnlineRocket's Win-Win Entrepreneurship Course the public! 🥳

And if you're reading this, it only means that you are interested in securing your own future through business since we're already in Meta's interest based algorithm. 🤯

Before you jump in on one the most challenging adventure and reward adventure you'll ever get into, I have a special challenge just for you!

Be among the first 10 enrollees to finish my course in 30 days from your date of purchase and you get yourself 50% OFF the retail price! 🥳

PLUS: If you honestly feel the course is not of value for whatever reason (I know this course isn't for everyone especially knowing how high caliber and experienced some of my friends already are), you can also avail of the 15-Day Money Back Guarantee. No questions asked. No risk.

You see, for the longest time, I get asked the same question over and over again: “What's a good business to go into?”
And of course, I understand where that is coming from.
Starting a business can feel overwhelming especially in the Philippines where most people are forced to learn through expensive mistakes, bad advice, or trial and error.
That’s exactly why I created OnlineRocket’s Win-Win Entrepreneurship Course.

This is a course not built purely on theory. Not a course made by someone who only got lucky once. And definitely not another “get rich quick” program.

This course is built from over 20 years of practical experience from someone who has:
✅ Started over 10 businesses from scratch
✅ Failed and learned from some of them so you don't have to
✅ Built businesses across multiple industries
✅ Managed over ₱1 billion in advertising spend
✅ Helped generate more than ₱6 billion in directly attributable revenue
✅ Worked with everyone from small local businesses to globally recognized brands
✅ Bet on himself over and over again to create his own future

More importantly, this course was made specifically for YOU as a Filipino!

Meaning:
🇵🇭 Real Philippine business situations
🇵🇭 Filipino consumer behavior
🇵🇭 Limited-capital realities
🇵🇭 Practical internet assisted opportunities
🇵🇭 Simple explanations without corporate jargon even my teenage son easily understands it
The course is designed to feel more like modern social media content than a classroom lecture:
🎥 Easy-to-follow video lessons
🧠 Interactive questions and short exams
📱 Accessible anywhere with internet
💡 Practical concepts you can actually apply immediately

Whether you’re:
• an employee wanting extra income
• an OFW planning for the future
• someone recovering from a failed negosyo
• or simply someone tired of building somebody else’s dream…
…this course was built for 🫵!

Because in business, you don’t just WIN. You LEARN!

Henry Sy didn't ask 'what's the most profitable business?'

He just observed his surroundings and realize people needed affordable shoes in post-war Manila.

He had access to surplus boots from American GIs.

He found a need and simply provided it by connecting the dots.

Nothing fancy, techy, or even glamorous at that time. Yet this pairing eventually led to the creation of Shoe Mart which then became SM with 80+ most and some of the biggest in the entire world!

This is just one of the things you can learn from OnlineRocket's Win-Win Entrepreneurship Course.

You don't need to chase the latest viral trends. You don't need to be flashy. You just need to observe your surroundings and fill in the gap.

The next best business idea just might be hiding in a problem you see every single day.

What problem do you see around you that nobody has properly solved? 👇

"The wise man doesn't give the right answers, he poses the right questions." — Claude Levi-Strauss

"Sir, what's a good business if I have P500,000"?

This is one of the most common questions I get asked and I just want to point out that this is rather incomplete if not outright wrong.

Why?

Business is as broad as your imagination!

Even retailing (buying and selling) can vary so much you probably can't enumerate all possible iterations of it especially since this is so dynamic.

Instead of asking this vague question, I recommend you ask this instead...

"I have a background in medicine and I've always been interested in retailing, what do you think is a good business to open if I had P500,000".

In fact, when you do come up with this question, I'm sure you'll come to realize the possible niches that should best fit your background.

Taking this further, just as what I have been teaching in the OnlineRocket's Win-Win Entrepreneurship Course, I highly recommend that you start doing a SWOT analysis.

If you put your heart into your SWOT, I can guarantee that you'll be able to answer this all important and far too common question.

Your Mentor,

Lemuel
